Pool shape
Figure 8
Two lobes, one pool — a playful silhouette with built-in zones
The figure 8 pinches its waist between two round lobes, giving a soft, playful outline with genuinely separate zones: a bigger lobe for swimming and splashing, a smaller one for steps, kids or a spa corner. The narrow waist is also the natural place for a handrail or a divider net.
Strengths
- Two clearly separated zones in one basin
- Friendly, distinctive silhouette
- The waist naturally hosts a rail or crossing point
- All-curve outline circulates well
Trade-offs
- The waist interrupts any swim lane
- Complex curves raise forming and coping cost
- Custom covers only
