The L-shape, relaxed — an angled junction instead of a hard corner

The lazy L angles the junction between its two legs instead of meeting at 90°, which relaxes the whole composition. You get the L-shape's zoning — swim leg plus shallow leg — with a softer, more organic footprint that sits comfortably in informal gardens and on sloping sites.
